Joe Hundeby is Graduate Research Assistant at the University of North Dakota

Joe Hundeby is a seasoned education professional who has worked with a diverse range of students over the course of his career. He gained extensive teaching experience at elementary, middle school and high school levels. Presently, he is a Ph. D. candidate and a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of North Dakota. His experience with high school students includes serving as the Principal of Verndale School and as an Alternative Learning Teacher at Pine Ridge Schools in South Dakota. He was the coach of Varsity Wrestling and track teams at Fillmore Central Schools. He is the former Assistant Principal at Todd County Schools on the middle school level. He was also the Middle School Dean of Students at Princeton Schools, and Junior High Principal at Verndale Schools. He was the Volleyball Coach at Prescott Schools and the football coach at Decorah Schools. He gained impressive administrative experience while working as the K-8 Principal at Todd County Schools and the Elementary Principal at Verndale Schools.

In his career, Joe Hundeby has done useful presentations and consultant work. He was invited to the United States National Dropout Prevention Conference, serving as the representative for the state of South Dakota. He was co-presenter for the University of North Dakota/St. Cloud State University presenting educational aspects and aspects and strategies of social networking to educational scientists, technologists, distance learning experts, teachers and trainers from around the world. His presentations focused on learning from and networking educational technology practitioners and experts and discovering the latest tools and solutions, covering all areas of educational technology. He is certified in General Education, and is currently pursuing his license in Special Education.

Joe Hundeby received his Bachelor's of Education from Iowa Wesleyan College and then went to the University of Minnesota to obtain his Master's of Education. He received college scholarship and has played football for four years. He has taken several advanced learning classes related to both general education and special education.
